Its that magical time of the year....Local Summer!
The weather is perfect, the crowds are gone, and the sun still doesn't set until 7ish - the perfect time of year to enjoy what New Jersey has to offer. Festivals, Wineries, Beer Gardens, Car Shows, the list goes on....
Summer officially ends on September 22nd but before we head into Halloween season the first couple weeks of October continue that Local Summer feeling. I'm heading to Cape May in a couple weeks for a quick getaway and also hope to check out a winery and of course some more car shows.
Beach
I've finally had some time to experiment with more still life reflection photos and figuring out flash. Also working on my portraiture skills (with my son as a somewhat willing subject).
I'll have a table at the Brick Township Annual Craft and Vendor Fair on October 5th. Come check out my prints, greeting & holiday cards, or ask about a custom order.
Metal
Went to some awesome shows in August including Windward Beach, Crystal Point, and Full Send Fest. Also checked out another Demo Day at the Simeone Foundation Museum and of course made a stop in Asbury one Thursday.
Ushered in Local Summer with a new show - the Laurelton Fire Company's Local Summer Cruise-in held at Icarus Brewing Co.'s new location. Very nice turnout for an inaugural show and I'm hopeful this becomes an annual event.
Looking forward to some more cruise nights before it gets cold.
